The Shanties

A small cove - a tidal river - near Port Bickerton and a popular fishing spot for the locals. Called "The Shanties" after the old fishing huts lying collapsed and abandoned along the shoreline. I made numerous trips there during my residency, with my favourite one being in the early morning fog. The locals hated the fog: they saw way too much of it. But I couldn't get enough.
